Job summary

BrokerLink in Canada seeks a Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking Account Manager, Commercial Insurance, to join our growing team. You will provide prompt customer service, handle commercial paperwork, assist with quotes and new business, review coverage and maintain client files.

You will also prepare insurer documentation, process endorsements and invoices, and negotiate with underwriters on terms while coordinating with adjusters on claims status.

Qualifications

• Valid provincial insurance license or willing to obtain.
• Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) would be assets.
• Strong customer focus and administration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team oriented and independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with prompt service by offering advice and addressing concerns.
• Receive and process all incoming Commercial paperwork.
• Assist with quotes, write new business, review coverage and update files.
• Prepare documentation for insurers and complete applications for new clients.
• Process endorsements, invoices, and follow up on payments.
• Communicate with insurers and negotiate with underwriters on terms.
• Follow up with Adjusters on claims status and collect information as needed.
