This is a hybrid/remote (one day in the office and four days remote) 14 month maternity leave contract role based in Toronto.
About the Role
Do you have previous event registration experience? Are you bilingual in English and French? Are you looking to build your digital marketing skillset? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. We are searching for an articulate, creative, solution-driven individual to join our team as a Bilingual Event Registration & Marketing Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Respond to and resolve all customer inquiries via phone and email for Canadian and select US events in English and French, providing timely and accurate information on registration, event details, nominations, and other concerns.
- Event Marketing: Partner with Brand, Marketing, and Events Teams to develop and maintain key event assets, including websites, registration flows, and attendee communications.
- Event Lifecycle: Become an expert in our event platform (Swoogo), managing the entire lifecycle of registration and nomination submissions from setup to reporting.
- Brand Marketing: Develop deep brand and event knowledge to support various team and departmental projects as needed.
- Bilingual in English and French
- 1 to 3 years of marketing or events experience
- Travel to 3 events per year (Vancouver, Montreal, US)
- Event registration, marketing, customer support or client service experience
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs to support the Events and Marketing teams in event planning, setup, execution and teardown
- Knowledge of event registration or events database platform similar to Swoogo, Cvent, GlobalMeet or Hopin is an asset
- Experience with landing page building in tools such as WordPress or Webflow is an asset
- Basic digital marketing fundamentals are a plus including website administration and email marketing
