Responsibilities

• Fluent in French and English.
• Serve food to residents according to individual diets and preferences.
• Manage portion control and safety precautions in your area.
• Operate equipment safely, including documenting temperatures and following HACCP guidelines.
• Deliver catering and assist with food preparation and cleaning.
• Participate in proper storage, labeling, and documentation of food and supplies.
• Set up for catering events and handle special requests.
• Adhere to safety, quality assurance, and infection control policies.
• Participate in meetings and training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion or enrollment in a Food Service Worker Program per Ontario regulations.
• Food Handlers Certification approved by Public Health.
• Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift moderately to heavily and stand for long periods.
• Current VPS screening within 6 months.
• Experience in kitchen or food service setting.
