Staples Canada, in partnership with ServiceOntario, is hiring a Customer Support Specialist to help customers with government services in our Toronto store. You will resolve questions, guide transactions, and ensure a smooth lobby experience.

This on-site role requires 1–2 years of customer service, clear communication, and attention to detail. Bilingual English/French is a plus; training on ServiceOntario systems, policies, and privacy standards will be provided.

Competenze

• 1–2 years of customer service experience is required.
• Effective communication across mediums (phone, email, in-person).
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively with ongoing distractions.
• Attention to detail to ensure data and transaction accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, and Internet for research and reporting.
• Bilingual English/French is preferred.

• Provide knowledgeable, respectful service to all customers.
• Clearly communicate service details, fees, and eligibility; de-escalate with empathy.
• Refer and warm-transfer customers to other departments and promote store offerings.
• Maintain brand standards and perform merchandising in the ServiceOntario lobby.
• Complete Ground Control to ensure lobby readiness and customer satisfaction.
• Share knowledge and train new associates.
• Participate in store huddles, meetings, and ServiceOntario training.
• Adhere to health & safety, asset protection, privacy, and policy protocols.
• Ensure customer data is handled securely and in compliance with privacy standards.
