CompensationThe hourly wage for this role starts at $23.64/hr.

Working Hours and Schedule

  • Part-time, 30 hours per week, with potential for full-time.
  • Rotational shifts from Monday to Saturday, typically 08:30–17:00.
  • Schedules are provided two weeks in advance.

Summary and PurposeThe primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate whether applicants are eligible to apply for an Ontario Driver’s Licence. This includes careful assessment of the validity of identity documents presented by applicants. In addition, the position involves providing information and support regarding Driver Examination services, with the overarching goal of ensuring that Ontario Driver’s Licences are issued both fairly and in accordance with established procedures.

Job Requirements

  • A General Educational Development (GED) certificate or a high school diploma is required as a minimum educational qualification.
  • Applicants must possess a valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence; this requirement applies only to certain office locations.
  • Fluency in both French and English is essential. Candidates must be fully bilingual in these languages.
  • Intermediate computer skills are necessary for this role.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience demonstrating excellent customer service—gained in either a retail or office environment is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are required, with the ability to handle difficult and highly complex situations effectively.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.
  • Candidates must be able to process and manage sensitive personal information with discretion and professionalism.
