Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Bilingual Customer Care Representative. You will serve as the primary contact for clients and field staff, delivering service in English and French while coordinating care requests.

You will assign staff, build patient schedules, maintain records in the system, and respond professionally to calls from funders, staff, patients, and families. This role emphasizes compassionate communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • One year administrative or office experience is an asset.
  • Scheduling experience is an asset.
  • Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Strong computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Assign appropriate staff to patients based on factors including times, availability and skill sets.
  • Build a care schedule for patients.
  • Enter and update employee and patient data within computerized system.
  • Respond professionally to calls and electronic communication from funders, staff, patients, and families.

What You’ll Do
  • Assign appropriate staff to patients based on a variety of factors including times suggested by patients, staff availability and relevant skill sets
  • Build a care schedule for patients
  • Enter and update employee and patient data within computerized system
  • Respond professionally and courteously to calls and electronic communication from funders, staff, patients, and families
  • Document and appropriately report all staff and patient interactions
