Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Compliance professional for the CWG and CIRO registered reps in Toronto. You will oversee regulatory compliance, monitor trade activity, and escalate issues as needed, while operating in a hybrid schedule with 2–3 on-site days weekly.

You must be bilingual (French/English) with a strong understanding of capital markets, and you will be eligible for annual discretionary incentives. Competitive compensation includes a base salary within the stated range and benefits.

Qualifications

• Full-service brokerage experience is required.
• Must have Canadian Securities Course; Options Supervisors Course is required; CSI Conduct and Practices Handbook and Branch Managers Course are assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight of compliance with laws and regulations for CWG and CIRO registered reps.
• Monitor daily/monthly trade activity for regulatory and policy adherence; conduct trade surveillance.
• Communicate findings effectively with internal partners and regulators, including investigations and correspondence.
