Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding client service in both French and English through telephone, email, and occasional in-person interactions.
  • Support members through all stages of the pension lifecycle.
  • Explain retirement options, pension buybacks, transfers, survivor benefits, pension statements, and online services.
  • Analyze member needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Resolve inquiries from initial contact through to completion while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to expand your pension expertise.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in both spoken and written French and English.
  • Experience in pension administration, preferably within a Defined Benefit pension environment.
  • Strong client service and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience working in a client-focused environment where relationship building is a priority.
  • Professional pension designations such as RRA, CEBS, RPA, PPAC, GBA, RRC, or RFRA are considered strong assets. Candidates interested in pursuing professional pension education are encouraged to apply.
  • Competitive salary with annual step progression.
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits.
  • Three weeks of vacation plus floater days.
  • Employer-supported professional development, including pension-related certifications and designations.
  • Stable permanent employment within the public sector.
  • Collaborative, supportive, and knowledgeable team environment.
  • Convenient downtown Toronto location with excellent public transit access.
  • Meaningful work that helps members confidently plan for retirement and their financial future.
