Job summary

CIBC Wood Gundy in Ottawa is seeking a Client Associate to work closely with Investment Advisors, helping manage portfolios and develop new business for high-net-worth clients. This on-site, full-time role emphasizes client engagement and proactive opportunity identification.

Qualifications

Fully bilingual in French and English.
Certified Investment Representative (CIRO-ID) in good standing.
Registered Representative licensing is an asset.
Experience in Financial Services/Brokerage and knowledge of quotation equipment.
Client-first mindset and ability to identify opportunities.

Responsibilities

Engage with high-net-worth clients to offer support and uncover business opportunities.
Support Investment Advisors and help build investment plans based on client goals and risk tolerance.
Proactively improve the client experience and develop new business opportunities.
Attend local events and participate in marketing and outreach to grow the network.
Maintain strong client relationships and trust through timely, thoughtful communication.
