Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a Business Development Manager for Eastern Canada to implement sales and marketing programs for NAPA and traditional channels. You will lead presentations to new prospects, assist customers in maximizing product sales, and promote DRiV Aftermarket products in collaboration with the regional team.

The role requires fluent French and English, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and at least five years of automotive aftermarket sales experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in French and English.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of proven sales experience in automotive aftermarket.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within Canada, with ability to travel into the U.S. for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Profitably grow business within the assigned area.
• Train and support the NAPA & traditional sales channel key accounts to grow sales in our categories.
• Perform market analysis to identify potential growth opportunities.
• Resolve customer requests/complaints within the area, balancing customer delight with company interests.
• Complete required paperwork and manage assets with good judgement on spending.
• Build strong relationships with company, customer and industry personnel.
• Support special initiatives, including pricing surveys and competitive intelligence collection.
