Job summary

Launchpad Technologies Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant (Bilingual – English & Mandarin) to join the Vancouver-based Finance Team. You will support day-to-day ops across Canada, the United States, and other regions, with 100% remote work and a Monday–Friday schedule.

This role offers exposure to multi-entity accounting, payroll responsibilities, and collaboration with global partners. CPA students are encouraged to apply, and the position aligns with growth toward CPA designation.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Mandarin required with clear written and verbal communication.
• Experience handling accounting responsibilities in a corporate or multi-entity environment is preferred.
• Proactive, detail-oriented professional able to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities with timely processing.
• Perform general ledger, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain accounting records in QuickBooks and other financial systems.
• Assist month-end and year-end closing including journal entries and supporting docs.
• Support preparation of financial statements, management reports, and analyses.
• Contribute to budgeting, expense tracking, and financial planning.
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting duties.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and ensuring internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners across countries to ensure consistent reporting.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and strengthen internal controls.
