Launchpad Technologies Inc. is seeking a bilingual Accountant (English & Mandarin) to join our Vancouver-based Finance Team. The role supports international operations across Canada, the US, and beyond, with a focus on accurate financial records and process improvement.

You will handle AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, payroll, and reporting, while collaborating with global partners. CPA students are encouraged to apply; CPA designation is not required at entry.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accounting position with intermediate-level responsibilities.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Experience with QuickBooks and other financial management platforms.
• Experience with AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and GL.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed team and based in Canada.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Perform general ledger, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using QuickBooks and other financial management systems.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and journal entries.
• Support preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
• Contribute to budgeting, expense tracking, and financial planning.
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting responsibilities.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and ensuring internal controls.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and international entities on reporting.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve controls.
• Maintain confidential financial records compliant with regulations.
