Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. in Brampton seeks an organized accounting professional to join the Accounting and Finance Department. You will support vendor payments, AP processes, and cash flow analysis in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires bilingual English and Spanish communication, a Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/accounting, and at least two years of experience. You will own payments, assist with senior-management reports, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or similar field.
• Minimum 2+ years in an Accounting/Analytical role.
• Thorough knowledge of accounts payable, journal entries, and accruals.
• Ability to partner with regions and supporting departments.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procedures for vendor payments, invoices, POs, and contracts.
• Conduct liquidity and cash flow analysis; manage bank payments and forex.
• Coordinate with banks on new accounts and payment updates.
• Communicate with external system support on escalations.
• Maintain daily cashflow spreadsheets and liquidity monitoring.
• Improve AP processes to increase efficiency and capacity.
• Review and track critical payments across systems.
• Aid in report preparation for Senior Management.
• Audit invoices, employee expenses, and prepare journal entries.
• Provide documentation on financial transactions and metrics.
