US Tech Solutions is seeking a Data Solutions Developer IV to join a team responsible for building scalable data processing platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Scala, Spark, Akka/Pekko, SQL, and data modeling.

This role emphasizes designing and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing large-scale processing, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions. Hybrid model (2 onsite days per week) and a 12-month duration suit senior professionals

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of software/data development experience.
• 5+ years of Scala development experience.
• 2–3 years of Akka or Pekko experience.
• 5–8 years of Spark / Big Data experience.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing.
• Experience building and supporting data pipelines and large-scale processing systems.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with Python or Java is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing solutions and applications.
