Agilus is recruiting for a BI Developer in the Manufacturing industry in Vancouver, British Columbia. We're hiring a BI Developer – ETL/SQL to design and optimize ETL pipelines, manage complex datasets, and enhance data delivery using SQL and Azure technologies. This role supports cross-functional teams by building scalable data infrastructure and developing analytics tools that drive business insights and product improvements. You will:

• Deliver analytics capabilities that leverage ETL processes to provide insights into key business metrics.
• Partner with data and analytics experts to continuously enhance system performance and functionality.
• Drive process improvements through automation and optimization of data workflows.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL architectures and robust data models to support evolving business needs.
• Design infrastructure and workflows using SQL and Azure big data technologies to manage and transform large, complex datasets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to align data infrastructure with business objectives.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient, automated data delivery and processing.
• Create tools and solutions that empower analytics teams to enhance product performance and decision-making.

Successful candidates will have:

• 10+ years of experience in BI ETL SQL Development or Data Architecture.
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Expertise in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server).
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Enterprise Data Models, and Data Governance.

Soft skills:

• Ability to support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services (e.g., Synapse, Databricks, Delta Lake).
• Experience with stream-processing systems (e.g., Azure Event Hub) is a plus.
• Experience with SQL databases and data ETL tools (e.g., Data Factory, Azure DevOps).

Total compensation:

• 85K - 108K annually
• Annual bonus opportunity
