Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Warehouse & BI Developer to help design, develop, and maintain our data warehouse infrastructure and create insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI. This role requires strong proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and other relevant technologies to ensure the availability, accuracy, and usability of our data assets.

What you will be doing:

1. Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions including:
2. Data warehouse solutions supporting business intelligence and reporting needs.
3. ETL processes for data integration.
4. Optimizing and tuning SQL queries for better performance.
5. Implementing data quality and governance processes to ensure integrity and regulatory compliance.
6. Provide actionable insights to support retail strategies by:
1. Creating interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
2. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable, efficient data models.
3. Contribute to the foundation of future data structures by:
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data architecture and reporting solutions with business goals.
5. Keeping up to date with trends and best practices in data warehousing, business intelligence, and data visualization technologies.

What you must have:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Developer, BI Developer, or similar role.
3. Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database management (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
4. Expertise in designing and optimizing data warehouse architectures and data models.
5. Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend).
6. Proficiency in data visualization using Power BI.
7. Familiarity with the Azure cloud platform and OneLake/DataLake storage architecture.
8. Experience in large-scale retail IT environments.
9. Extensive knowledge of IT systems, relational databases, and data analysis.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
12. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
13. Comprehensive understanding of the retail industry.

Salary/Rate Range: $70,000 – $90,000
