Your role, your impact

As a BI Developer, you will have a strong background in business intelligence development, particularly with Microsoft BI technologies. You will work closely with business users and technologists to create and support data solutions that drive business insights and decision making.

Identify crucial business metrics that provide valuable insights into operations;

Create dimensional data models to support business metrics and analytics, ensuring flexibility for future changes;

Analyze source system data and develop ETL packages using tools such as SSIS;

Create intuitive and flexible reports using tools such as SSRS;

Empower the business by creating lasting gateways to their data using analysis services tools such as SSAS;

Support the solution throughout the software lifecycle, working with both business and IT representatives;

Perform testing and prepare comprehensive documentation;

Interface with business users and technologists at client locations to gather requirements and write design specifications.

Keys to your success

Degree from a post-secondary institution in computer science or engineering;

3 to 10 years of business intelligence development experience;

Experience in developing and managing OLAP cubes and tabular models for data analysis;

Proficiency in Microsoft BI technologies (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SQL Server);

Proficiency in developing ETL packages to extract, transform, and load data from various sources;

Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning;

Ability to work in client-facing environments;

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders;

Results-driven and flexible approach, with a passion for variety in work and making meaningful contributions.
