Job summary

Apotex is seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence & Reporting to design and deliver commercial reporting architecture, data strategy, governance, and visualization. You will partner with IT to align data architecture across multiple sources and modernize data management with Databricks.

The role leads BI projects for Apotex Canada Commercial, delivering high-quality dashboards and analytics using Power BI and related tools, while supporting budgeting, IBP, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and VBA.
• Experience with Databricks or similar cloud data platform.
• Experience with data visualization and BI tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with all levels within the organization.
• Experience in Canadian pharmaceutical data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Improve and modernize data preparation and load processes
• Identify and implement opportunities for modernized data flows utilizing Databricks
• Understand Apotex Canada Commercial data requirements and complex datasets
• Integrate data from various lines of business and sources into a unified reporting view
• Liaise with IT teams to ensure database architecture aligns with business needs
• Manage Commercial databases, ensuring timely flow of clean data
• Develop and maintain data visualization apps in support of Apotex Canada Commercial teams
• Lead development of Power BI applications for Apotex Canada Commercial teams
• Develop and maintain Data Sourcing standards to be used across all tools, applications, and reports delivered by Commercial Excellence team
• Lead cross-functional project teams to gather, understand, and execute requirements to maximize efficiency within the Commercial organization
