Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking an Analyst, Business Intelligence to collect, structure, and analyze data from multiple sources. You will develop dashboards and KPIs using BI tools to identify trends and opportunities for operational teams and management.

You will translate business needs into analytical solutions, ensure data quality, and automate reporting while contributing to process improvements in a manufacturing/operations context.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics or related field.
• Experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex information clearly.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional and performance-oriented environments.
• Proficient with BI tools including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL and advanced Excel.
• Experience in manufacturing or operational environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of data governance or data architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, structure, and analyze data from multiple sources (ERP systems, operations, quality, etc.).
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using BI tools.
• Identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
• Provide clear, structured, and actionable insights to teams and management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.
• Automate and optimize reporting and performance-tracking processes.
• Support decision-making with robust analysis and data-driven recommendations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data management processes.
