Job summary

PACT - Pearson Accelerator Construction Team is seeking a BI Analyst to design and maintain data pipelines, models, and Power BI dashboards for program status reporting. The role spans Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and integrations with Autodesk Construction Cloud and BambooHR, delivering automated client reports and AI-enabled insights.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of hands-on BI or data analyst experience delivering production reporting.
• Strong Power BI development covering semantic modelling, DAX measures, report design and scheduled refresh.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or a similar lakehouse platform.
• SQL proficiency with Power Query and DAX.
• Experience integrating data from line-of-business systems via APIs or scheduled extracts.
• Data quality discipline including reconciliation of published figures against source systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication with non-technical audiences.
• Post-secondary education in information technology, data analytics, engineering or related discipline.
• Construction, engineering or major capital program experience preferred.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-300 or DP-600 preferred.
• Exposure to AI agents, Copilot, or LLM tooling is an asset.
• Geospatial data exposure is an asset.
• API security handling and secret management considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric to established standards.
• Ingest and archive raw data from Autodesk Construction Cloud and BambooHR.
• Develop transformation logic to standardize data for a unified operational view.
• Aggregate data into Gold layer datasets for reporting foundations.
• Monitor pipelines, investigate failures to root cause and fix data quality issues.
• Document pipeline logic, data lineage and source dependencies.
• Publish reports in governed Power BI workspaces and manage promotion path.
• Design interactive Power BI dashboards for project status insights.
• Prepare and maintain datasets for AI agents and Copilot usage.
• Ensure governance and access controls over datasets and reports.
