Job Summary

As the Benefits Manager, you will partner with key leaders and outside advisors to provide competitive benefits supporting our business. You will execute the benefits strategy by researching, designing, and managing cost-efficient benefits, including health, welfare, retirement, and country-specific programs. You will be a key member of the Global Total Rewards team, working closely with external advisors, business leaders, payroll, legal, finance, and HR teams.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  1. Benchmark, evaluate, and recommend associate benefits such as insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and wellbeing programs to maintain competitive advantage.
  2. Lead workstreams in special projects like M&A due diligence, integration, and DEI initiatives, demonstrating project and change management skills while collaborating across all organization levels.
  3. Manage the annual renewal process for all benefit plans, coordinating with advisors, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and oversee provider changes and RFP processes.
  4. Provide guidance for escalated questions and daily issue resolution as the subject matter expert.
  5. Monitor regulatory and government regulations, providing updates and reports to the VP of Total Rewards.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  2. At least 6 years of corporate benefits experience on a global or multi-country scale.
  3. Bilingual in French and English to serve clients and providers in Canada and the USA.
  4. Expertise in health, retirement, and wellbeing benefits for Canada; experience in France, UK, and Ireland is a plus.
  5. Experience with regulatory compliance, governance, and controls.
  6. Proven success leading benefits programs with cross-functional teams in Canada, France, UK, or Ireland.

Travel Requirements

  • Domestic and international travel up to 25%.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.
