Job summary

People Corporation is seeking a Benefits Analyst to design and manage group medical, dental, life, disability and special risk benefits for clients. You will perform renewal analyses, prepare client reports, and support presentations with strong Excel, Power BI, and Tableau skills.

The role emphasizes data gathering for plan design, market analysis, and collaboration with internal teams, carriers, and clients. A post-secondary business/math degree and 1–2 years' analyst experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete experience reporting, budget projections and reviewing plan financial performance.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and adherence to underwriting agreements.
• Gather data and determine cost impact for plan design changes.
• Conduct marketing; including preparing and submitting specifications, analysis, cost comparisons and recommendations on marketing responses, and preparing marketing report.
• Support the consulting team in preparing documents for client presentations and meetings.
• Participate in industry conferences, seminars, etc. in order to keep abreast of industry trends and activities.
• Build relationships with clients, carriers, and internal, cross-functional teams.

Job description

The Benefits Analyst will provide group benefits consulting support, including design and financial management for clients and prospects. The Benefits Analyst will work closely with internal consulting teams, interface with vendors, support client deliverables, and ensure quality standards are met.

The Benefits Analyst will:

• Contribute to the overall design and management of group medical, dental, life, disability and special risk benefits for clients.

Salary Range The base salary for this position is between $65,000 - $70,000 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to provide additional details of the total compensation for this role.
