Job summary

People Corporation is seeking a Benefits Analyst for hybrid work in Burnaby, BC (with Kelowna, BC options). The role focuses on designing and managing group medical, dental, and life benefits, plus annual renewal analysis and carrier negotiations.

You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to deliver accurate reports and recommendations. The candidate should have a post-secondary diploma or degree in business or math, 1–2 years’ analytics experience, and strong Excel skills,

  • Post secondary diploma or degree in business, mathematics or related disciplines.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in analyst or related role.
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, strong communication.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to design and management of group medical, dental, life, disability and special risk benefits for clients.
  • Perform renewal analysis and negotiations with carriers; prepare client reports and presentations.
  • Complete experience reporting, budget projections and reviewing plan financial performance.
  • Gather data and determine cost impact for plan design changes.
  • Support the consulting team in preparing documents for client presentations and meetings.

This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
