Job summary

Burnt Out Creek Ranch in Crooked River, SK is seeking 2 Beef Cattle Farm Workers to perform duties including handling livestock, monitoring calving, feeding, and maintaining farm facilities. The work is on-site in a remote rural setting with shift rotations and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• English language required.
• No formal education required.
• 7 months to <1 year of beef cattle farming experience.

Responsibilities

• Handling animals
• Monitor the calving process
• Monitoring animal health
• Perform livestock feeding
• Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving
• Treat livestock health issues
• Feed and tend animals
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Milk cows
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
• Perform general farm duties
