The incumbent is responsible for patient throughput and the smooth allocation of Health Centre beds.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or educational equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year recent related experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to complete job routines accurately and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Bed Booking procedures and Meditech system an asset.
• MS Office (Intermediate level with Word and Excel), internet, and knowledge of databases and data entry required.
• 40 w.p.m. keyboarding.
• Satisfactory attendance record.
