Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, with the customer at the center of everything you do.

Why this role is important?

SUMMARY: To maximize sales of beauty products and services sold by Shoppers Drug Mart.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Sales Expectations: Maximize sales and awareness of promotional programs; possess a "selling is fun" attitude; promote sales of beauty products; encourage participation in the PC Optimum program.
2. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Promote a positive environment for customers and coworkers; always prioritize the customer and provide superior service; actively model desired behaviors with eClienteling; promote products and the PC Optimum program; book appointments for in-store events.
3. OPERATIONS: Exhibit and promote products and services; attend vendor schools and workshops; adhere to Cosmetics Operating Standards.
4. GENERAL: Comply with health and safety regulations, store policies, and loss prevention procedures; act professionally; perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Independent thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Selling skills in cosmetics.

Experience:

• Proven consultative and selling experience with a track record of success.
• Good knowledge of beauty products and services.
• Ability to conduct consultations and demonstrate product application.
• Strong communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to bend and stretch for stocking shelves.
