Join to apply for the Beauty Merchandiser role at Shoppers Drug Mart.

We are hiring a Beauty Merchandiser for SDM 2247 UBC Wesbrook Village - 5968 Webber Lane, Vancouver, with potential shifts at SDM 2273 UBC Campus - 5940 University Blvd. Both stores operate from 8am to 10pm, and candidates must be able to work afternoon shifts.

We seek an energetic, kind, and eager individual to merchandise our cosmetics department. Prior cosmetics experience is an asset.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Use PDT and MMS Systems for daily tasks.
2. Manage Exit Strategy and Product Return as directed.
3. Be an expert in product inventory, placement, and expiry dates.
4. Maintain store standards related to image and trends.
5. Ensure product displays are consumer-focused and "shoppable".
6. Achieve daily sales targets.

Customer Service:

1. Maintain a clean image in accordance with uniform policy.
2. Take initiative to acknowledge and assist customers.
3. Have knowledge of the cosmetics market.
4. Demonstrate strong customer service skills.

General:

1. Comply with health and safety regulations.
2. Follow store standards and loss prevention policies.
3. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

1. Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
2. Efficiency, organization, and neatness.
3. Ability to adapt to changing situations on the sales floor.
4. Cash handling skills requiring accuracy and efficiency.

Experience:

1. Some computer and cash register skills.
2. Well-organized with good record-keeping ability.

4. Self-motivated.

Working Conditions:

1. Flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
2. Ability to climb ladders.

Hiring pay range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience, knowledge, and location.
