The London Drugs team is seeking client-focused beauty and cosmetics experts to share their enthusiasm and expertise. As a London Drugs BEAUTY ADVISOR, you’ll be a trusted resource for our customers, helping them select the perfect cosmetics and beauty products.

What’s the job about?

The role of a London Drugs BEAUTY ADVISOR involves helping the beauty department meet sales and marketing objectives while providing top-notch customer service and retail beauty advice. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Advising clients on specific products and services throughout the beauty and cosmetic department.
2. Positioning London Drugs as a destination for trusted beauty and cosmetics expertise.
3. Providing quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
4. Staying updated on department and store products and promotions.
5. Setting up and working with promotional displays and point-of-sale merchandising tools.

Qualifications

Need to have:

• Proven skills in advising customers on beauty products, services, and store promotions.
• Excellent knowledge of various beauty products and the ability to demonstrate their use effectively.
• Superior makeup and cosmetic application skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings and weekends.
• Clear and positive communication skills with customers, vendors, employees, and management.
• A professional image and demeanor reflecting positively on the cosmetics department and London Drugs brand.
• Flexibility and positive handling of change.
• Keen interest in learning more about health, fashion, and beauty.

Nice to have:

• Experience as a makeup artist, cosmetician, beauty advisor, counter manager, skin care specialist, or similar role.
• Education in aesthetics, makeup design, or related fields.
• Understanding of retail merchandising.
