Job summary

Optis, a Vancouver-based consulting firm focused on Source-to-Pay, is seeking Technical Analysts to translate client requirements into system specifications. You will solve complex problems, clearly communicate, and work with clients across North America while traveling up to 30%.

Qualifications

  • University degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience with integration technologies and related tools.
  • Interest in web-based applications and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS models.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with sample code, configuration, and debugging integration code.
  • Interact with engineers and developers integrating legacy systems with ZIP, SAP Ariba, Coupa and/or Ivalua.
  • Collaborate with project managers to meet timelines and quality obligations.
  • Coordinate with partner integration engineers to deliver solutions.
  • Contribute in both individual and team settings on or off client sites.
  • Travel up to 30% of time to support customers.
  • Participate in internal projects and professional development.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and referrals.

Job Description

Assisting in the development of technology solutions and translating client business requirements into system and technical requirements to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

We're looking for Techncial Analysts who are confident, versatile, and passionate about solving complex problems. Successful candidates are logical thinkers who thrive in collaborative environments and can navigate ambiguity with confidence. They are strong communicators, adaptable, proactive, and take ownership of their work while helping clients achieve meaningful business outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist clients with sample code, and configuration, help clients debug integration code, prepare test cases, etc.
  • Interact with engineers and developers at Optis’ Customers who are integrating their legacysystems with ZIP, SAP Ariba, Coupa and/or Ivalua.
  • Work with Optis/Customer project managers to meet project timelines and quality obligations.
  • Work with integration engineers from our partners to deliver the solution successfully.
  • Work well in both individual and team settings both on and off client sites.
  • Manage customers where up to 30% of your time may include travel.
  • Participate in Optis internal projects.
  • Continue to develop your professional skills, mentor others and seek mentorship.
  • Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities, doing lead generationactivities, or working with partners for referrals
Requirements
  • University degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience of overall experience working with integration technologies
  • Interest in learning about web-based applications and the SaaS, PaaS and IaaS Cloud models,Infrastructure, Architecture, and Integration concepts as well as application of these technologies in the enterprise environment.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
