Job summary

V2Soft is seeking a battery systems engineer to apply 0D/1D/3D simulation tools for engineering applications, analyzing lithium-ion performance, thermal behavior, and aging effects. You will work with cross-functional teams to interpret results and drive design optimizations.

Qualifications

Master of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace/aeronautical engineering, or Applied Physics from ABET-accredited university.
Minimum of 2 years using simulation tools for engineering applications.
Hands-on 0D/1D battery simulation and analysis tools such as GT-SUITE, MATLAB/Simulink, Amesim, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of lithium-ion fundamentals, including performance, thermal characteristics, and aging.
Understanding of HV electrical circuits, busbar design, and Battery Disconnect Unit (BDU) in a battery system.
Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and communicate findings clearly.
Experience with optimization methods (DOE, parameter estimation, control optimization).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to present findings to cross-functional teams.
Proven teamwork and problem-solving using analytics and simulation.
