Job Description:

The HTS Controls Group is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working BAS Technician who will work under the direction of the Project Manager. Responsible for designing user interfaces for our Controls projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Validates complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.
2. Completes the setup, detailed commissioning and system diagnostics of the BAS from management level to the sensor/actuator level.
3. Troubleshoots low voltage electrical, communication wiring, hardware installation and configuration, DDC programming and general system performance issues.
4. Keeps Project Manager informed of job progress and issues.
5. Submits completed commissioning documentation.
6. Adheres to HTS and jobsite safety standards and procedures.
7. Performs site-specific training for owner/operator on the BAS system.
8. Coordinates work with other jobsite trades.

Skills/Qualifications:

1. 3 year Controls Systems degree or equivalent education.
2. 3 to 5 years’ experience working in the field with HVAC and BAS systems.
3. Strong documentation and communication skills.
4. Independent, self-learner and high desire for high quality products and systems.
5. Must possess a valid Driver’s license in good standing.
