Baxters Landing is looking for a bartender to join our team in Oshawa. You will craft cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, greet guests, take orders, and ensure fast, accurate service that enhances our guests' dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the hospitality sector is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling.
• Strong bartending skills including drink preparation and presentation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to all food safety regulations.
• Handle cash and operate the POS system efficiently.
• Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.
• Upsell additional products when appropriate.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed.
