Baxters Landing is looking for a bartender to join our team in Oshawa. You will craft cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, greet guests, take orders, and ensure fast, accurate service that enhances our guests' dining experience.

This role emphasizes standard drink preparation, safe food handling, POS operation, cash handling, and upselling. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive wages, a team-focused environment, and opportunities for growth within the restaurant group.

Competenze

• Previous experience in the hospitality sector is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling.
• Strong bartending skills including drink preparation and presentation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

What You Will Do In This Role

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations

• Handle cash and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently
• Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
• Upsell additional products when appropriate
