Job summary

River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, BC is hiring for a Full Time Server 1/Bartender to deliver exceptional hospitality with attentive and efficient service. You will work with Food & Beverage to create memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced casino setting.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of serving experience, Serving It Right certification, and the ability to obtain a Gaming Worker License. Squirrel POS experience is a plus; reliable availability on weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Reliable availability to work on Call on Friday, Saturday and Sundays.
• Minimum 1 year of serving experience with strong, service-oriented communication skills.
• Experience with Squirrel POS system is an asset.
• Serving It Right Certification.

River Rock Casino Resort is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as Server 1/Bartender. In this role, you will create memorable dining experiences by providing professional, attentive, and efficient service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Accountabilities

• Greetings guests warmly, using names whenever possible to create a personalized and memorable experience.
• Escorts guests to tables when required, presents menus, and highlight daily features and promotions.
• Describes menu items and beverages with confidence, including preparation methods and flavor profiles.
• Takes accurate guest orders, offers thoughtful recommendations, and anticipates guest needs.
• Serves food and beverages promptly, checks in for satisfaction, and ensures a seamless dining experience.
• Prepare beverages and select food items when applicable.
• Addresses guest concerns with professionalism or elevate to leadership when needed.
• Presents bills upon request and processes payments accurately.
• Clears and resets tables, maintains cleanliness, and restocks service areas as required.
• Completes opening and closing responsibilities, including cash float counts when applicable.
• Assists in covering other sections to support overall service flow.
• Exercises sound judgment when serving alcoholic beverages and follows Serving it Right standards
• Communicate effectively with all operational departments to support smooth service.
• Builds strong working relationships with guests, ownership, and team members.
• Ensures adherence to licensing laws, health and safety standards, and all regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the success of the venue.

Education & Qualifications

Work Environment Considerations:
