Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers, reading and listening to their preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
• Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
• Selecting, mixing, and garnishing ingredients, then serving beverages to customers.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age.
• Taking inventory and ordering supplies to keep the bar and tables well-stocked.
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
• Handling cash, credit, and debit transactions—ensuring accurate charges, providing correct change, and balancing the cash register.
• Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Developing new cocktail recipes and mixing drinks to achieve proper alcoholic content, taste, and quality.
• Managing the cash register to process customer payments, including cash, checks, and credit processing.
• Interacting with customers by providing prompt service and a friendly attitude.
• Handling problematic situations that may arise from customers.
• Adhering to safety guidelines, including ensuring the bar does not exceed its maximum capacity.
