Responsible for the proper and professional preparation of all beverages for all 1927 and In-Room Dining guests. Responsible for taking food and beverage orders, retrieving and serving alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages, and food orders to guest tables according to Rosewood Hotel Georgia specifications, courteously and efficiently. Collecting payment from guests, processing bills in a timely manner, and following proper cash handling procedures. Responsible for attending briefings, seminars, etc., to educate themselves about our products, property, and standards. Ensure all shift duties are completed and sections maintained to hotel standards. Participate in the ongoing maintenance and cleanliness of 1927.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in an upscale restaurant or cocktail lounge. Hotel experience is an asset.
Education: High school diploma; diploma/degree in Hospitality Management or Mixology preferred.
Skills: Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, organization, problem-solving, teamwork, confidentiality, flexibility in shifts.
Technical Skills: Certification from an accredited bartending/mixology school, Serving It Right Certification, knowledge of beverage preparation, and familiarity with POS systems (MICROS experience is an asset).
Language: Proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
Physical Requirements: Ability to exert physical effort, transport 75 pounds, physical movements, and communicate effectively with guests and staff.
Licenses & Certifications: Serving It Right, FoodSafe, or equivalent certifications; must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
