Overview of Position

This role involves providing a complete food and beverage experience to guests.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

1. Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, food preparation units, equipment, tables, and tools.
2. Prepare drinks and simple food orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
3. Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.
4. Service food and beverages in a friendly and engaging manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
5. Remove soiled beverage and food ware from bar and tables and place in designated area.
6. Transport supplies to the bar set-up area and wash soiled glassware.
7. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
8. Ensure proper service of alcohol, including checking IDs and processing payments.
9. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
10. Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
11. Complete closing duties.

Qualification Standards

1. Strong wine and bar knowledge.
2. Ability to lift 30 lbs required.
3. Flexible and reliable.
4. Team player.
5. Bends, stoops, reaches, wipes, and lifts.
6. Sufficient mobility to move and operate in the work area.
7. Minimum 6 months experience preferred.
