Job Title: Bartender

Canlan Sports, the largest private owner and operator of recreational sports complexes in North America, is seeking a Bartender.

Pay Rate: $17.40/hour

Job Summary

Our bartenders are outgoing, positive, and team-oriented. They provide prompt, courteous, and accurate food and beverage service to exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities

1. Apply advanced knowledge of beverages.
2. Maintain effective inventory controls of bar products.
3. Handle payments and gratuities, make change, and process voids accurately through the SQUIRREL system.
4. Maintain knowledge of and actively promote the menu, beverages, and current promotions.
5. Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed (shift-dependent).
6. Maintain, set, and clear tables as required.
7. Receive product delivery and ensure safe, sanitary, and secure storage when required.

Qualifications and Education

• Smart Serve, Serving It Right, or equivalent required.

Abilities, Attributes, and Experience

• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred.
• Outgoing, positive, and team-oriented.
• Experience handling payments and gratuities through a POS system (SQUIRREL preferred).
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends).
