Responsibilities

  • Pour and present Britannia's craft beers with proper technique and knowledge
  • Prepare and service cocktails, wine, cider and non‑alcoholic beverages
  • Provide warm, attentive hospitality reflecting Britannia's culture
  • Offer informed recommendations on beer styles, cocktails and food pairings
  • Maintain a clean, organized working environment in compliance with health guidelines
  • Complete opening and closing duties such as restocking, cleaning and cash handling
  • Carry out end-of-night procedures and duties
  • Support brewery events and seasonal features through guest engagement

Job description

Britannia Brewing is a local brewery, taphouse + eatery with a focus on craft beer and modern West Coast cuisine. With three locations across the Lower Mainland and one in the Okanagan, we’re proud to serve approachable, high‑quality beer and food in welcoming, community‑rooted spaces.

Our 90-seat Ladner Village location is looking for an experienced Bartender to help continue building a strong, positive, and high‑performing bar team.

Role Overview

As a bartender of Britannia Brewing Ladner, you will play a key role in delivering the Britannia Brewing experience, combining craft beer knowledge, cocktail preparation skills, and warm hospitality to ensure every guest feels welcomed and excited to return. As an ambassador of the Britannia brand, our Bartender Team uphold high standards of service, product knowledge, and consistency while contributing to a positive collaborative bar environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pour and present Britannia's craft beers with proper technique, glassware and product knowledge
  • Prepare and service cocktails, wine, cider and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Provide warm, attentive hospitality that reflects Britannia's welcome, community-focused culture
  • Offer informed recommendations on beer styles, cocktails and food pairing to enhance the guest experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment for all staff, in compliance to all local and provincial health guidelines
  • Complete opening and closing duties such as restocking, cleaning and cash handling
  • Carry out accurate end-of-night procedures and duties
  • Support brewery events, new beer released and seasonal beverage features through guest engagement

Requirements

  • 1+ years of bartending experience in a professional full-service restaurant/bar environment
  • Serving It Right
  • Exceptional customer-service skills
  • Strong knowledge of food, craft beer, cocktails
