Come join our team at this amazing property, centrally located in Vancouver, Washington, with easy access to Portland International Airport. Featuring 226 rooms, the hotel is within walking distance to the waterfront and local attractions such as the Vancouver Farmers Market (located directly across the street), making it an excellent base for leisure and business travelers.

What will I be doing?

A Barista is responsible for greeting and taking guests' orders for beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous, professional, and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include upselling items, entering orders into a computerized system, and settling checks. Specific duties include:

• Greeting guests courteously, promoting and documenting orders, making and presenting drinks using standard recipes, and practicing portion control.
• Entering orders into the POS system, creating checks, and maintaining accountability for all beverages served.
• Handling cash transactions, making change, verifying charges, and balancing registers.
• Maintaining the coffee bar setup, including requisitioning, stocking, and rotating products daily.
• Responding positively and tactfully to guest complaints, negotiating solutions.
• Securing beverages, food, and equipment, depositing cash drops, and balancing the bank.
