Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up bars, stocks beer, wine, spirits, supplies, garnishes, and glassware.
• Maintains stock and quality of perishables and garnishes.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Processes drink orders, mixes drinks, and practices portion control.
• Checks IDs for age verification.
• Detects guest intoxication and acts accordingly, understanding liquor laws.
• Handles cash, makes change, and verifies charges.
• Secures all beverage and cash assets.
• Performs cleaning tasks to meet health standards.
• Maintains attractive display of bottles and glasses.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
