Job summary

Dexterra Group is hiring a Barista to join our team in a fast-paced cafe environment. You will craft high-quality beverages, serve light food items, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

We value coffee passion, reliable teamwork, and the ability to multitask while delivering exceptional customer service. Training is provided, and weekend hours may be required as part of a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous barista or café experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for coffee and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, personalized service.
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty drinks.
• Accurately handle cash, card, and mobile payments using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor inventory and restock items as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of our menu, products, and promotions.
• Assist in opening and closing duties as required.

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Barista to join our team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, hospitality, and creating a welcoming environment for every guest.

You'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and light food items, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and delivering outstanding service to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
