Kaizen Lab Inc. in Invermere, BC is seeking a line cook for an on-call, on-site role. You’ll prep ingredients, cook quality meals, and help keep the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced setting.

WHAT YOU BRING

• A genuine love of food. Period.
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen or similar culinary environment.
• Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
• A solid understanding of food safety practices.
• A commitment to a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace.
• The ability to follow recipes and deliver consistent results.
• Pride in creating great food and presenting it well.
• Comfortable being on your feet for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Food Safe Level 1 or 2, or willingness to obtain it.
• Culinary or hospitality education is a bonus, not a requirement.

THE DETAILS

• This is an on-site position located in Invermere, BC.
• This is a permanent, on-call role with no guarantee of hours or consistent work. Shift times may vary anywhere from 4 – 8 hours per day, with start times as early as 7am. You’ll be our first phone call when last-minute shifts become available or when we’re planning for busy periods.
• The hourly rate for this role ranges from $23.50 - $26.46 per hour, depending on experience, and is eligible for tips.
• Shifts can start as early as 7 AM and run as late as 4:30 PM.
