Job summary

Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire, a Fairmont property, invites you to join as a Banquet Server for events including meetings, conferences, weddings and galas. The contract runs from early August 2026 to January 18, 2027, offering a dynamic, guest‑facing role in a luxury setting.

You will contribute to flawless service, setup to breakdown, and collaborate with culinary and events teams to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• Valid ProServe certification required.
• Previous customer service experience; prior banquet, catering, restaurant, or hotel F&B experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask, communicate clearly, and stay organized during high-volume events.
• Maintain professional appearance and polished demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly service at banquets and catered events.
• Deliver attentive, personalized service while maintaining a polished appearance.
• Serve in various banquet settings (plated, buffet, coffee breaks, etc.).
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly for an exceptional experience.
• Explain menu options, accommodate dietary needs, and advise on beverage selections.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, offerings, and service standards.
