National Bank est à la recherche d’un soudeur industriel pour un poste permanent. Le candidat opérera des équipements de soudage manuels ou semi-automatiques, interprétera des plans et vérifiera les soudures pour s’assurer du respect des normes.

Le poste exige une formation en métiers spécialisés ou expérience équivalente, travail dans un environnement industriel et le respect des procédures de sécurité. Travail sur site et conditions propres à l’atelier.

Qualifications

• Diplôme ou certificat en métiers spécialisés requis.
• Expérience en soudage industriel souhaitée et sécurité respectée.
• Maîtrise de la lecture de plans et des procédés de soudage.

Responsibilities

• Interpréter les spécifications des procédés de soudage.
• Opérer équipements de soudage manuels ou semi-automatiques.
• Lire plans et spécifications, normes et procédures.
• Vérifier les soudures selon les normes.
• Réaliser le brasage et le découpage à la flamme.

• Interpret welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal
• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
• Determine weldability of materials
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
• Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal

• Monitor and read recording instruments to detect equipment malfunctions and ensure plant systems and equipment are operating within prescribed limits
