Job description

This opportunity allows candidates to express interest in current and future Banking Advisor positions across Kemptville, Winchester, Prescott, and Iroquois. Qualified applicants will be contacted for further resume review.

What is the opportunity? This role leverages your client-focused advice and problem-solving skills to maximize each client interaction, assisting with banking, credit, and investment needs. As an RBC ambassador, you add value during key moments, collaborate with partners, and help clients achieve their goals. Your expertise will create meaningful experiences, drive satisfaction, and foster loyalty.

What will you do?

  1. Engage proactively with clients in branches and communities to identify needs, provide advice, and uncover sales opportunities.
  2. Focus on client education, demonstrating technology to enhance experiences, increase sales, and retain business.
  3. Respond to client-initiated contacts, assisting with a range of financial transactions.
  4. Listen actively to understand client needs better.
  5. Own and resolve banking issues proactively.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with partners for business opportunities and referrals.

What do you need to succeed? Must-have

  • Mutual Funds accreditation or willingness to obtain it (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for putting clients first.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills to build relationships and connect proactively.
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong ethics, and drive to succeed.
  • Digital literacy across devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial or service industry.
