About the opportunity:

1. Outlier is looking for talented writers with fluency in Bengali to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
2. This freelance opportunity is remote and hours are flexible, so you can work whenever is best for you.
3. Read Bengali text to rank responses produced by an AI model.
4. Write short stories in Bengali on given topics.
5. Assess whether Bengali text produced by an AI is factually accurate.

Examples of desirable expertise:

1. Experience as a professional translator.
2. Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in humanities or related fields.
3. Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.

Payment:

1. Core project work pays approximately USD $7.5 per hour for Bengali writing experts.
2. Rates vary based on expertise, skills, location, project need, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. Additional phases like onboarding or overtime may have different rates. Incentive payments may also be available. Please review specific project payment terms.
