Sobeys Bakery in Ontario is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the department’s daily operations, coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer service while upholding food safety and SOPs. You will manage budgets, labour costs, inventory, and merchandising to drive sales and margins.

Responsibilities include developing a coaching culture, training direct reports, communicating operational changes, maintaining product presentation, and ensuring OH&S and regulatory compliance within the bakery.

Formación

• Minimum 18 months of retail store experience.
• Experience reading and analyzing financial reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• High School Diploma.
• Retail leadership experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create a coaching and development culture for all employees, which embraces a passion for food.
• Demonstrate outstanding leadership, while serving as a role model.
• Manage direct reports including selection, orientation, training and development, performance management, succession planning and compensation.
• Communicate operational requirements/changes to department employees.
• Manage store operations as required.
• Lead the implementation of corporate policies and SOPs and ensure compliance.
