Job summary

Agilus by Synergie in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is hiring Bakery Production Team Members to join a fast-paced food production environment. You will mix and prepare ingredients, operate bakery equipment, bake and package products, and maintain cleanliness, quality, and food safety standards.

Successful candidates have at least 1 year of experience in a commercial food production facility, Food Handler Certification, knowledge of GMP/HACCP, strong math skills, and the ability to lift 55 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial food production facility.
• Food Handler Certification; knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety principles.
• Strong math skills and ability to measure ingredients accurately.
• Able to lift 55 lbs and perform repetitive tasks in a warm environment.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment, including mixers and ovens.
• Mix, shape, pan, and prepare dough and bakery products.
• Bake products while monitoring quality, temperatures, and timing.
• Package finished products accurately and efficiently.
• Perform quality checks to ensure consistency and product standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production environment.
• Follow food safety procedures and assist with general production duties as needed.

Join our team as a Bakery Production Team Member and help create high-quality bakery products in a fast-paced production environment. This hands-on role involves mixing and preparing ingredients, operating bakery equipment, baking and packaging products, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, and food safety. We're looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals with food production experience who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.

Total rewards: $17.00 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work shifts that may begin as early as 5:00 a.m. and may finish as late as 10:00 p.m.
