Longo's is seeking a Bakery Assistant Department Manager - Full Time to lead a vibrant bakery team in a fast-paced store environment. You will support the Bakery Manager in daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure top customer service and product quality.

The role requires at least 1 year of bakery experience, cake decorating ability, strong communication and leadership skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. You will work days, evenings and weekends and may travel for off-site events.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of bakery department experience and product knowledge.
• Ability to decorate cakes and pastries.
• Strong customer service skills and relationship building.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate and work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.

Responsabilidades

• Motivate and mentor Team Members.
• Provide support with regular team meetings.
• Coach and train Team Members to maximize productivity.
• Handle Team Member and customer issues.
• Uphold policies including health & safety, food safety and loss prevention.
• Merchandise, manage inventory and schedule to meet financial objectives.
• Provide exceptional customer service to Team Members, Customers and Vendors.
