Job summary

Homestead Co-op in Carman is seeking a Part Time Bakery Clerk to contribute to daily bakery operations, assist with merchandising, packaging and inventory control.

Reporting to the Bakery Manager, you will ensure safe food handling, maintain cleanliness, and provide friendly service to customers, including evenings and weekends.

This position is ideal for motivated individuals who value teamwork and align with our Co-op values of integrity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to problem solve.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cake decorating experience is an asset.
• Reliable, motivated and capable of multitasking.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Bakery Manager your duties will include, but are not limited to; assisting with the day to day operations of the Bakery, merchandising, quality control, packaging, housekeeping and inventory control. Must adhere to the safe food handling practices at all times and be able to lift at least 50 pounds throughout the day.
